Privacy Policy
In short: Foldr works inside your browser. Your folders and the chats you organize stay on your device. We do not collect, read, or store the content of your conversations on our servers, and we never sell your data. The only information that reaches our server is what is needed to sign you in and confirm your plan.
1. Who we are
Foldr (“the extension”) is a browser extension published by Wonderdoodle (“we”, “us”), available at www.wonderdoodle.in. It lets you organize conversations from AI chatbots into folders, search them, and export them. Foldr is an independent product and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, xAI, or Perplexity.
2. Information that stays on your device
To work, the extension runs on the chatbot websites it supports (chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, chat.deepseek.com, grok.com, and perplexity.ai). On those pages it reads chat titles, links, and chat content so that it can show your folders, search your chats, and export them.
The following is processed and stored only in your browser (using the browser’s extension storage) and is not sent to us:
- Your folders and which chats are placed in each folder
- Your settings and preferences
- Chat content read for search and for exporting
- Temporary progress information while an export is running
If you uninstall the extension or clear its data, this information is removed from your browser.
3. Information sent to our server
Some features (signing in and checking your plan) require contact with our server at foldr-1.onrender.com. The information involved is limited to:

This information is used only to operate sign-in and plan verification. The extension checks your plan status periodically in the background and when you sign in or upgrade.
4. What we do not do
- We do not collect or store the content of your chats on our servers.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or credit decisions.
- We do not load or run code from remote sources. All of the extension’s code is included in the package you install.
- We do not allow other websites to communicate with the extension.
5. Permissions and why we need them

6. Third parties
Our server is hosted by Render (render.com), which processes standard technical data as part of hosting. If you choose to upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled on our website by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record, and we do not see or store your full card details. The chatbot services you use with Foldr are separate from us and are governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Data retention and your choices
- On your device: Data remains until you delete folders, clear the extension’s data, or uninstall the extension.
- Account data on our server: Signing out in the extension removes the device link. To request deletion of any account data we hold about you, contact us using the details below and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
8. Security
Communication with our server uses HTTPS. Plan status is confirmed with a signed token that the extension verifies before unlocking premium features. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we handle.
9. Children’s privacy
Foldr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be noted on this page.
